i had bought a rolling rolling chassi of the losi speed t. then bought a mamba max pro 4600kv motor and esc. im using a 11.1v 5000mah 25c battery. this thing is the fastest thing i have ever driven. i have had a rustler vxl and and many nitro cars and trucks...but by far this is the fastest. i will get the gps on it soon to see how fast...but its def faster then the rustler vxl and it says 70 out of the box....but just wanted to see how other people thought about the losi speed t

i love the speed-t!

i don't know about the advertized speed compared to how fast they can really go.
i aslo want to put a gps sensor on mine. i have a venom sensor that has told me 52 mph,
but that was before tire swell ... and the stipid magnet seems to come off after every run!

i've had it three years and wear out rear tires in four battery charges.
i've got it geared soo hi , i only run half the battery charge per run.
or the plastic of the motor gaurd starts to melt.. lol
i'm using 27t pinion and smallest option gear spur ??? not marked just compared all the choices and took smallest i have.
i want to gear higher ... but long run times are fun too!!!

i'm using a thunder power 8000 mah 22c 3s lipo. no strap , just industiral strenght velcro

i go back and forth in front of my house and every body that ever sees it says ...
- it sure goes FAST !!!
- it sure goes straight and turns around easy to go stright !!! ( practice )

i've got the roof worn threw in many places and the wheelie bar is ground of to a stump.
you just need good throotle control to get up to speed before going full throotle.
seems like the higher you gear them ... the more torque they have for wheelies ???

see if this sounds familiar to anybody..... I got the speed-t and love it.... my issue is that when I run it I can hear the motor spinning or a humming sound, but the wheels aren't matching the speed it used to go

I hear the motor spinning faster than the car is moving. I used to be able to ride wheelies doing about 40mph and now I can't pop a wheelie at all.

It runs fast but just not as fast as it used to. Again I hear it wanting to go faster but its just not getting to the wheels.. help me please anyone.......

If you've had it awhile, my first guess is the clutch shoes are worn down enough that it's not hooking up solidly. That would explain why you're hearing the motor whine faster than the car.

i have had mine since it first came out and i love it. Once you get used to the speed and control around corners, it's a fun car to drive. i had a neighbor cop clock my car and the fastest read was 72mph with a checkpoint 7.4v 5400 lipo.i have only seen one rtr truggy go faster and it went 80mph.
