I bought a brand new GRP .28 tuned engine and it has a leak somewhere but I can't find it. It was wet around the glow plug and lost all compression. . Does these engines have problems like this or could it be something else. I took my engine to my local Losi dealer and he has about 25 years of experience working on these and he can't find a leak. He took the head off checked the piston sleeve and said they were fine. He thinks there might be a hairline crack in the head or around the glow plug and when it gets warmed up it opens up more and losses compression. But I'm wandering if anyone else has had a similar problem? He put everything back together and it had great compression and ran great for about an hour and the same thing happened again. It just quits and has very liitle compression and it is damp around the glow plug. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Randy

Sorry for the late response.

The plug is your problem, O.S plugs have a different taper than GRP. If you're lucky you get leaks, if you're unlucky you risk ruining the button.

Plug that to my knowledge work are: GRP/Technopower/TQ(these are just starting to come to market, Team Orion, Sirio, Dynamite.

I few plugs I know to not fit are: O.S., RB, Novarossi.
