M2C clutch is sick and works very well. I have it on my Ten. Plus he has the best customer service. Give him a call and find out for yourself.

Hey StrangeRanger,
Just curious how the Buku clutch worked out for you? Did it bolt right up? Their website specifies this part for the Traxxas 3.3. Could you let us know if there were any issues? It looks like a cool part.
The stock Ten-T clutch in way insufficient in my opinion. It can't handle the heat. I have tore up a couple sets of clutch shoes and the seals on my clutch bearings just fell out, half melted from the heat.

My wife has been out of town for work so I've been on kid duty for the past 3 days. The Buku clutch has been sitting staring at me the whole time! Arggg! But she comes home today so I plan on installing the clutch tonight. I'll take some pics.

I had the same issue with the seals on my clutch bearing. My clutch came apart while I was running the truck, inspected it when I heard an odd noise, found the clutch bell had fallen off and chewed up the spur. Wasn't sure why the clutch gave way, inspected it with my dad who's mechanically inclined and we couldn't come up with a an explanation for the clutch letting go. The heat seams to be a logical explnation, regardless, my next s/u will def be a 3 shoe aftermarket improvement. Anyone running an aftermarket clutch yet? How's the truck perform, does it bite better, improve low end throttle response? Is it going to affect the high end? I've never upgraded a clutch before.
i ordered mine Friday and wheel hubs

M2C makes awesome clutches for sure. I've been running their 3 shoe set up in my red dot revo for ages and love it.
But when I saw this Buku clutch that's super easy to tune I had to try it.
Finally got a chance to get it installed. I took pics but of course forgot to bring the memory card to work w/ me.
Another reason for people to change their clutches from the spring wrapped, 2 shoe set ups besides them sucking donkey balls is that they destroy your clutch bells. Mine had a huge groove worn in the middle of it (pic coming) from the stoopid spring.
The install was a snap. A couple shims behind the collet, slide the flywheel on, tighten nut, slide on shoes and springs and go.
The flywheel is MUCH beefier than stock. Love it. And once I located my tiny flat bladed screw driver installing the springs was a snap.
The clutch hooks up nice. I've not "tuned" it yet b/c I was having too much fun driving. Plus my carb slide was sticking big time. I think it's b/c the slide boot doesn't sit properly. So I'm putting an old 3.3 carb on. The boot on that carb seals much nicer.
I'll post pics of the install as soon as I remember my camera.

Remembered my camera so here's some pics of the install. Sorry they're big.
Notice the nice groove worn into the clutch bell from the shatty stock clutch spring:

Here's what the new springs look like:

Not the best pic, but a comparison of the new and stock flywheels:

When I took the flywheel off I was very glad to see a nice clean, non-leaking front bearing though:

Shims placed behind new flywheel:

New flywheel w/ one spring installed:

Flywheel w/ 2 shoes installed:

All 3 shoes installed:

That looks like a great clutch setup. I gotta get me one!
Sounds like you are very happy with the performance. The stock clutch on the Ten-T is worthless.
Thanks for sharing the pictures and your comments.
