Over geared??!?!

I have a mini LST2 with two upgraded motors. They are the Insane motors from Losi. I was I have 20t for the pinion gear, and 54t for the spur gear. Do you think this is over geared? do you think it will be too hard on the truck?

no way. i had my mram with a single insane motor on a 24 tooth and the 54 tooth spur and its fine. motor gets a bit hot, but not overheating or damaging anything. i eventually switched back to the 20 tooth one it came with though and the motor ran a bit cooler.
