Hey fellas,

Just wondering if anyone knows what size o-ring is in the DT gear diff?
Managed to chew one up into about 30 little bits and not sure on the exact size needed.

I have looked for part numbers and exploded diagrams and can't find anything.
I have also sent an email only to get a reply saying they don't know and to measure it myself and go to the hardware store.

I would measure it myself, and I have measured it myself but have read a few times that the material that the o-rings are made out of swell with silicone oil.
And I am not sure if it is supposed to be metric or imperial in size.

Probably not that important to be exactly the same size but I would like it to be.

I need new outdrives and a new case aswell so I am thinking about going for a whole new diff since it will only be an exta few dollars.

Would appreciate any help.

Cheers.

Is this in teh 1/10th scale? I have disassembled mine a few times and don't recall there being any o rings in it???? Where are you finding it?

Yes, sorry, this is the 1/10th model.

They go over the diff output, one inside, one outside.

By the "diff output" are you refering to the output cups?

HOnestly, I haven't taken them apart that far....I just switched over to a XXXTcr tranny with ball diff. I don't much like gear diffs.....
