Hiya all, im new to the forums. I have just acquired a used but ecellent condition LST2 but im having so much trouble with it.

First off, im getting lots of interference with the radio gear thats been installed and there is a constant adjustment noise coming from the servos. Secondly the engine is well out of tune and third the starter isnt working properly.

Gosh i wish i hadn't bothered. I was given a power drill to start it with but it seems to have caused nothing but headache and im wary its causing damage to the hex starter socket as its already starting to round off. Should i just go back the the more farmiliar to me pull start? I prefer to be able to feel the engine when starting it and theres no feel with electric starting.

What do you guys suggest ? is there an easier way?

This isnt my first nitro car but its making me feel like im dong something desperately wrong.

Sorry for all of the questions. Lets hope happiness and satisfaction is not far away.

The noise from your servos isn't that odd...kind of common in fact.

As far as the engine, just check the glo plug, put the carb back to factory, and try to start it....and if you're more comfortable with a pull start, I'd say throw one on there.

WOW thanks for the responses, ive just returned it to the shop I bought it from as ive been unable to get any use from it. They have credited me so ive ordered a new XXL with the spektrum instead. What do you think? good move?

On the plus side you'll have a kicka$$ radio system.

Well that was also a deciding factor as i have another 3 cars that i can install telemetry on. Its only cost me £200 difference to change and thats bought me the new car with better engine etc and DS3S radio gear. I think its a good deal. Cant wait for it to arrive in next few days.

Just the new radio alone makes it a good trade!
