8ight-2.0 RTR Front Gearbox Breaking [Archive]

Hi I need some help - I have purchased 3 X 8ight 2.0 RTR with some friends and we have all stripped out the front gearbox bolts that hold on the shock tower. :mad:

After replacing the gearbox we now don't have the same issue, now the front gearbox case just breaks if the top of the shock tower is hit in a roll over.:(

What can i do to stop this occuring (apart from not crashing)

any help thanks

Maybe some longer screws that go all the way through and add a nut to it...........and maybe not crash so much. :p

I have plenty brutal to my 2.0 and it's still in one piece. I do have to check the four screws holding the tower to the gearbox every one in a while.

X2 longer screw's and back the one's you can with Nuts and you should be all good.
