If you want "Mini Comp Claws", get the blue formula Claws and the 1.9 memory foam.

I'm in the middle of a Gatekeeper Designs Mini GC-3 project and I'm purchasing new wheels and tires. I've decided to go outside of Losi and try the aftermarket.

I decided to go to Proline's Titus wheels. When I went to The Crawler Store to order, I found the new HB 1.9 Rovers. I now have Rovers tires on Titus wheels. I like the design of the Titus wheel. One ring and twelve long screws. Those screws have yet to strip out and I feel the plastic used in the wheels is another reason I have no stripping problems. I also have a Comp Crawler and I don't like the Comp Crawler's wheels. The plastic is different in composition than Proline and they use small, short screws. I have already wasted two wheels. I'm very careful and patient when it comes to driving metal screws into plastic holes and yet I've wasted one set of wheels. I'm also getting Rover tires and Titus wheels for the Comp Crawler.

I've also observed that the Titus 1.9 wheels seem narrower than the standard plastic wheels. I've heard that the Losi aluminum wheels are wider. But when I mounted the Rovers on the Titus wheels, they look like my Comp Claws on the standard narrow rims of my Comp Crawler. Anyways, they look cool!

You might try the aftermarket my friend. The Rovers are the popular choice. Taller and wider tires are the popular trend. And I follow all crawler trends. You should see my Micro Rock Crawler.
