LOSI Ten-T ….The good and the bad! The good: ROSS, so far so good, except it is a pain to charge other than that it has been very reliable. The remote is superb, works well on other buggies , is easy to set up and very reliable. The motor is rock solid, no issues with it, I broke it in as recommended by Losi, it is very throttle responsive, great top end
Ok now here comes the BAD!
The fuel tank is too small; I get about 4 to 4.5 min. of run time (is that normal). I have a short coarse behind my house and have several friends and family members that run a lot of different buggies / truggies, with very little or no broken parts at all, however I have broke the front knuckle on the second lap, out at the track, had to wait a week for parts because no one had them in stock, received parts and set out for another try at the track, first lap broke rear knuckle (what the heck ?) well same as before no parts in stock, received knuckle a week later and set out for a third time WOW!!!!, didn’t make a lap, came off the third turn and front axle broke, very disappointed , now I know what you all are going to say , its abuse, maybe so but I have successfully ran 3 gallons of fuel through my other buggies with no broken parts., not to mention all of the other buggies that run on Sundays. Don’t misunderstand me we have some mishaps that result in breakage, I just think this is extreme!
is anyone have the same issues ?

is it cold where u live? cold temps have a tendency to make plastic more brittle...also try different suspension setups...u may have it set too stiff or not stiff enough..either way it could b stressing the parts u are breaking

I have broken nothing on the Ten-T yet other than the clutch spring. I agree it needs a bigger tank, but I think moving to 30% fuel might help here a bunch. All the Losi guys are running 30% (which is odd since the manual says 20% only.) I think the ROSS OWB has issues, the glow plug possibly is a bad choice, and the clutch design isn't optimal. Still the Ten-T offers crazy value for the money. I think in hindsight, I wish I got an 8ight-T RTR instead, but the Ten-T still rocks.

I live in Southern Louisiana the temperature has been in the 40’s-50’s, may not be cold for you but cold to us lol
Thanks for the tip, I will look into a new setup….can’t hurt.
