I have to get 2 new batteries and have never bought lipos before (I have 4 that were given to me). I'm looking at a 3c and maybe 5000mah range.
Someone at one of the local track told me about a place online that has really good prices on batteries, but I can't remember the website. They were name brand batteries, like Orion or Tiger Power, not some of the cheapies that I see on some EBay auctions. :-)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott

Horizon has a bunch. Dynamite and Thunderpower both make packs that meet those requirements. I like the Dynamite one. It has worked great for me in my 8th scale.
Are you looking for something to fit in an 8th scale or 10th scale?

I'm looking for something for my XXX-T.
My brother in law suggested hobbyking.com. I looked and they have some 30c Turnigy lipos for a good price.
Has anyone had good/bad experiences with these batteries?

My buddy runs 4s Turnigy's in his 8ight-T E and 2s Turnigy's in his blitz and loves them.
I have 3 2s 5200mah 30c hard Turnigy's on the way for my Slash 4x4. The lipos are cheap but shipping from Hong Kong is kinda expensive. But you still get a great deal.

hobbyking.com.
These are really nice battery, VERY cheap. There are many other manufactures re-labeling these packs and doubling or tripling the price.
IMO, they aren't quite as good as a Thunder Power or a really high-end (read: expensive) race pack, but for mid-range packs, they cannot be beat.

Hobby King both with Turnigy and Flightmax.
Both are cheap, reliable and powerful indeed.
