:confused:I have had my T for almost 3 weeks now an finally gave in today. Its been sitting in the box looking pretty cause its been so cold. Well i tried to get it running today with no luck. In my heated garage at that. I have the hsn an lsn at 2 1/2 turns out. What do you guys have them at? My batteries are fully charged. I even tried replacing the plug with the A3, still no luck. Ive seen in the other threads this has helped in the colder climates. This isnt my first nitro, but I cant for the life of me get it running. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Ok, i finally got it running. But i cant get the temp any higher than 120. Thats with tin foil an a sock on the head. Ive read how people were saying the tank is to small. It sure the heck is. Barely had time to even try an tune it, geez. I got it running by removeing the blue wire an using one of my plug igniters. So frusterating!!!

The mod is a quick simple one, just open the coil up a bit with some needle nose. If you do it right the wire will accept stock and os plugs

Are you checking temp with hand held unit or relying on the telemetry reading? If you are blocking off the airflow to the cooling head it seems like it would have to be getting warmer than that. How cold is it where you are?

It was about 25 out today, but i was running it in my garage so it was probably more like 50. I am using a hand held temp gun. The temp reading on the radio is extremely accurate though to. What settings are you guys using on your carb? It says to start off at 2 1/2 in the manual, but it seems like it might be running kinda rich. I only rran two tanks through it tonight. I cant believe how low the temp was, kinda scary

I broke mine in with temps in low to mid 40s with just a sock over the hear sink. I had no problem getting temps up. In fact I had to roll the sock up a little to keep it from getting to hot. The stock setting were pretty rich even with outside temps that low. I wouldn't hesitate to lean it out just a little bit. The temps on my transmitter aren't accurate at all when the truck is moving. If I let it idle the reading rises to within a few degrees of my handheld. I'm sure yours will be the same when you take the coverings off the head. If not maybe mine is in the wrong place.

Yup, lean it out a bit. I had to lean my a tad to even get it started. It was simply pouring fuel out the pipe to begin with.
