I was given a desert t for christmas and the first time i raced it the transmition
screws came out . I have bought the correct losi parts pack losa3034 but the
two screws that hold the transmition to the motor plate are to short is there
an other part as the information booklet said the part above was correct::cool:

Those are the correct screws, make sure the transmission case to together all the way. Make sure you check out the manual: http://www.losi.com/ProdInfo/Files/LosiDesert.pdf

the transmition case is together correctly, the screws are 2mil to short they need to be 33 mil long not 31 mil . the manual dosnt show correct length only drawing of were it goes . ive never had a problem with losi parts before . I even tested them on my sons speed t and they are short on his truck to , that truck also takes the same parts bag . losi problem ???????????

If you could identify the problem part/screw....it would be a LOT easier to help.....and in inches please

not a problem the screw is a 4-40 1 1/8 inch screw that is not long enough . horizon hobbies sent my problem to losi and it has been found that the manual is not right after the trucks were checked in the warehouse . Losi found that the screw is 4-40 1 1/4 inch long and not provided in the losa3034 parts bag . now has to be amended to losa6287 for correct parts .now looking for new parts in Australia .
thankyou all for your help . now i can beet all the non losi trucks at the stives track here in Australia.
