What I don’t understand. When you a buy a car that's supposed to be RTR or ready to run when I finally get it. It doesn’t come with a battery or charger? Ok well I did order the 11.1v lipo for my new speed t so when my car came I thought I would have 2 batteries. Ok so now I only have one battery and well I can’t charge it because losi decides to change all the plugs to meet their standards and well now I’m 7000 miles away from America were I can’t just walk into a hobby shop to get what I need. I’m in this god forsaken country of Iraq with a car that doesn’t do **** but sit on a shelf and look pretty and collect dust. Does anyone have any suggestions on were I can get adaptors to go from the losi battery to a gt power RC a6-d charger?

I am sorry for your frustration but I don't know of any RTR cars that come with the battery and charger. (at least 10th scale) This has always been something "extra" to buy.
As far as your charger goes. I am not all that familar with it but from the picture I saw of it, it looks like it comes with aligator clips for the charger output. Those should fit in the EC3 connetor enough to make contact and get the battery to charge. The issue will be getting it to balance if you need to. You will need the thunderpower battery balance adapter for the charger if you do not already have one.
Just be super fareful when you plug the aligator clips to the connector that you do not short the clips or plug them in backwards.
I understand this might not solve all your problems but it should get you running at least.
(balancing is recommended but not required).

Ok i think i charged my battery i ran the car today for about 20 minutes and it went dead. It took over 60 mins to charge the battery last night. The car doesnt have reverse. but it did run fairly fast. I need to know is this the part i need to balance the battery? http://www.hobby-lobby.com/balancer_adapter_thunderpower_rc_battery_charger_8 1158_prd1.htm
if so i will buy it
thanks again

hey there, i can feel your frustration
i do have points of interest to give for both sides.
i know how this hobby can cause all types of emotions, so it is best to try and stay neutral
and avoid pouring gas on a fire.
first for the rtr story...it is usualy stated somewhere what the requirements are for completing a kit even if it says rtr do your homework and read every thing you can get your hands on to familiarise yourself with the kit before buying.
this helps you understand more what your getting and sometimes even help you make up your mind if deciding between kits.
next it is possible to get kits with batteries and chargers...all the micros and minis from losi have them.
as well as just about anything from traxass.
then even if it does come with a battery and charger,
it's never going to be the best.
even to get the top speed from the car you usualy neeed to change gears and even tires sometimes.
rtr batteries will give you the possiblity to use your car and eventually charge it.
so definetly expect extra investment if you have a need for speed!!!
as for your battery runs...it seems not to bad, but try just using your battery a few times and it might seem to pick up a bunch of extra capacity, i'm not familiar with your charger but if it has a lcd display of the milli amps that gives a hint to if the battery is not taking all it says it can or if your just going really fast and burning up lots of juice!
make sure your battery doesn't get to hot during a run. it could mean your geared a little to high for the way your running
as for reverse..check that your in the mode that has revese with your programing card for the esc
and for my last, possibly worst thing to say but it's the most important.
if it's so hard for you to get hobby stuff, that is what makes it more important to understand what you ordered. this will give you the most rewarding experience with your hobby as possible.
i think i'm just as addicted to learning about all the rc kit's as i am buying as many as i can to play with

Something shorted or was hooked up wrong. Settings looked fine as that is 1C charge rate and lipo setting. There should have been a reverse polarity protection on the charger so I have a hard time thinking that was the problem. I don't know???? I have seen lipo's do this in the past but it was almost always user error in wrong charger setting or something similar to that. I would contact horizon to see what they say. This forum is a good place for advice but the wrong place for warranty related stuff.

Well in this case it isnt user error. It doesnt take rocket science to hook up red to red and black to black
