I turn the steering way down on the controller to min or less. I add two or three large spring clips to the right front only. This helps with body roll. Let off on the gas set the car to turn gently and drive it out of the corner. It's not as fun as sliding the sprint cars but bumpin' and banging is fun in this class!
Have Fun!

If the track is very high bite, try the 'Street' rear tires with the stock front tires.
If the track is more of a "buggy tire" surface, try the original Mini-T tire combo (Mini-Pin rears, directional ribs on the front...)
I run the NiMh battery on the left, with about 3/4 oz of weight in the center/rear of the chassis... If I'm running a LiPo on the left, I'll use about 1.5 oz of weight down the left-center of the chassis... (the car is so light, it needs some weight to allow the chassis to work....)

I found mine worked the best with front shocks laid in on the top and out on the bottom, stock black spring, and 100wt oil. I also added a small shim or two to raise the right side camber link.
In the rear the shocks were in the third hole out from all the way in on the top, out at the bottom, and 40wt oil.
Battery in the middle(dynamite 1500)
Ride height was high because the track was rather bumpy.
Hope this helps!!!!!!;)

I run on a pretty high banked oval so depending on what you run on makes a big difference! i trimmed all along the body edge to prevent any dragging! I use a small sprint car tire on the left front! Definitley get yourself some of the adjustable aluminum shocks and forget the wedges! Also get the titanium turnbuckle set for your camber and toe in adjustment! That's just a few things and hop ups!! Good luck and if your serious get your wallet out, LOL!

I race my MLM on a carpet oval track and this is what I found to work best for indoor carpet oval racing. I modified all 4 shocks on my MLM to make it sit as close to the track as I could by putting a small piece of plastic tubing inside my shocks to make them shorter. I run my battery pack on the left of the chassis. I also put a Fireball 370 stock motor in it. I moved my receiver and speed control to the center battery compartment to help lower the center of gravity even more. I run the mini t foam tires all the way around. I moved the bottom of all 4 shocks all the way out the front shocks are set in the 2nd hole on the top and the rear shocks r set in the 2nd from outside hole on the top. I also have a custom painted body on it(just for looks lol) Here is a pic of mine before and after my modifications. I hope this info helps you.

Hey guys, noob to the forum, but been around a little bit on others. Anyways, looking for some steel pinions for my Losi late model. I added an Ez-run Brushless motor, and was wondering where or what everyone else is using..
Well-I found what I was looking for---

Hey, Great set-up advice here-I ran it to almost a "T" at a local Dirt Oval and it was really good.
Here is what I ran--I run the Extreme chassis, and run on hard black dirt-med bite, dusty
Front -80wt with soft silver(slider) springs on left-heavy rear silver spring on right/no wedges, and both all in on top, all out on bottom. 1 spacer washer on right camber link on bulkhead.
Rear- 40wt with heavy Blue springs/no wedges, I ran my camberlinks long. out on hub and in on bulkhead. The bulkhead ball cups may need to be massaged, as they will rub on tranny case.
Battery left with 1.5 oz behind the battery, 1/2 oz on top of tranny.
Pro line bowties in rear, and street meat on frt rt, directional on lfrt lft.
I also use a 1/10 servo, so keep in mind I have more steering and weight up frt.
Running a 5200kv Ez-run motor with 16t pinion, ball diff and dual slipper with stock spur
The car was a little hoppy due the bumpy track, switching to lipo also, so I am going to go to a softer rear spring (green)
