Hey,
I just bought a couple of Mini Rock Crawlers for me and the kids. They are great but I suggest if you get one, remove the factory installed spacers on the shocks. It lowers and loosens the suspension and I noticed an immediate improvement in its ability to climb more vertically.
Other than that I will mount the battery lower and add some weight to the rims.

Cheers all and happy new year!:)

Those aluminum shocks are a great addition to the MRC Boogieman.
Mine have no limiters and use 45wt shock oil. The fronts use three hole pistons with silver springs and the rears use two hole pistons with blue springs. I mount mine inverted (upside down).
I also like straight lower links on the front and bent links on the rear.
In my blue formula Claws, I use memory foams in the fronts and blue foams in the rears.
I feel this is a safe and strong set up and it'll climb like a goat and side-hill like no other!
