4. maybe centre smart diff
5. battery lipo 14.8

any help or comments taken on board

Thanks

Thanks for all the input I have settled on a Hobbywing Ezrun 2000k motor with a 150mamp ESC
pinon 17T
spur 45 ( see janks300)
fitted LOSI HD Diff in rear with metal inserts and 3000wt oil
fitted LOSI DD Diff in centre with metal insert and 20000wt (yes 20000wt to slow it down)
trial 14.8 S4 ( VENOM 35C 5000 mamp 7.4v x 2)however S5 may be the way to go
Engine temp sits around 50 degrees C after a flogging
Steering Sevo is ACE ds 1015
DX3S with Tel
This will pop wheel stands at 3/4

mmm 2200 is perfect for the truggy
i run a 13t pinion with a 45t spur if you use the losi convertion 45t is the largest that will fit
4s works well but i run 5s with the epa turned down a bit

4s is a little low for a truggy. try 5s it will be better.

Ya I am running the following:

ESC: Mamba Monster
Motor: 2200kv Neu Castle
Battery: Thunder Power 5S 30C 5000mah
Pinion: 13T
Spur: Stock 45T

I have played with my exponential a bit. I am one of though people that don't really put down the EPA. I'd rather have it there if I need it and if I get stuck behind someone hammer it and get around them on the straight. LOL its funny wheeling past people.

Using a 2200KV motor? With only 88 W/h under real race conditions you wouldn't unless your not turning some laps. Running with the big boys to get ~20-25min on a truggy you need 111-133 W/h minimum. On a buggy you can run much less. I run all brushless on all my setups.....have tried and researched and ran pretty much every combo and motor setup. It almost always comes down to those #'s.

4S is plenty for a truggy. 5S will run cooler, but spinning much past 35K starts to decrease eff%.

Try not to run the EPA down when possible. That will lower the eff% of the setup and the ESC will create excessive heat. Best thing to do is setup Eagletree on the truggy and monitor your setup. It will let you setup the vehicle correctly.

Ahh under bashing yeah...easily 20min with that setup. With a race setup you will normally draw 100+ amp spikes constantly, and that will wear through a pack quick.
