Why doesn't Losi offer online ordering? I was wanting to purchase an XXX4, but my local hobby shop doesn't have one in stock, but they can order it. I can do that from any number of hobby shops, but I was wondering why Losi doesn't offer a direct buy? Just Curious..

Actually, they do through horizon hobby, which owns losi.

I prefer to order through the local hobby store, though, because it is usually cheaper and keeps them in business.

Horizon Hobby, unlike Great Planes Model Distributor (AKA Tower Hobbies), encourages people to support their local hobby shops. Horizon Hobby has a dealer locator on the bottom of their website. What do you think would happen to the hobby if there were no local hobby shops around? Yet, still more than ever local hobby shops are getting less and less common. Try to give your local hobby shop a chance. Chances are, you will be glad you did.

exactly buy from your lhs all the time and eventually you become buddies in most cases, and if one hobby shop is bad don't assume there all like that because they aren't.

I get most goods from Amain or Losi Parts House, I would purchase from a LHS if I had one :(
