what happened to the ball diff i heard it was going to be out in october and havent seen anything. got a brushless motor waiting to go in my slider, but would rather not melt the diff in every 5 mins.

i know that, but nobody has it in stock. everybody says its backordered

ill looked in to that direction and buying it all seperate but, diff screw spring and nut assembly are backordered

You can use a t4-b4 diff srew and nut. Actually they are better because the screw is hardened and the diff nut actually has a locknut embedded in the plastic as opposed to just plastic that the losi comes with. Not aware of a spring. Where does it go?

find a place on the net that has everything to build one, but its going to cost around $60 to build one. dont know if its worth the wait for the cheaper price or not. nobody can give me a for sure release date

I don't understand. Why would you want a ball diff. If you inside tire is spinning it is because you don't have enough weight on it. Or you camber is tilted in too much. Don't be afraid of moving weight around in the car.

that is not the problem it is the durability, i dont want to burn up a diff halfway through every race.

A friend of mine has the metal gear diff in his slider and has been running a 10.5 with no issuses at all for about 5 races, 2 heats and a main or 2. We took it apart 2 nights ago and it shows no sign of wear. Hope this helps

thats good news i was thinking of doing that to get me by till the ball diff comes out
