Hopping up the High Roller  Put all the Aluminum hop-ups available on then added a 4600kv Sidewinder She's running good;) But i keep burning out my Diff gear it's the only plastic gear in the tranny , I've loosened up my slipper and the last one is doing alright but it's hard to do wheelies  Does anybody have any suggestions?

We have a metal diff gear available at the end of September for the HighRoller, Strike, and Slider.

Nice, im wanting to pcik up a high roller. I had a Traxxas Stampede back in the day and had tons of fun with it. Price of these High Rollers is real cheap to. What type of temps do you get with the sidewiner?

Not bad i haven't had any problems with heat. The sidewinder works great , but i would recommend using a lipo, i am using a 8cell nimh 5000mah and i have used a lipo the nimh seems to studder a little when ya punch it :(

Not sure what you mean is that punch or a profile? I haven't changed anything straight out the box on the sidewinder , What do you think i should change so it doesn't studder when you punch it?http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb198/eyecallya71/sidewindersettings.jpg
I don't remember there being 5 options to punch control although it has been awhile since of used a castle esc. Set the punch control to low and see how it goes and then lowest to see if there is any difference. Alot of people set it to high thinking that there is going to be some killer torque but you really need some high end batteries and is pointless really as electric motors have plenty of torque to begin with. I was running 3300mah sanyo cells with my 6900kv and was running fine. All the rest should be set at standard although personal preference for the rest

Nice Roller. I wanted to do the same thing. Get all the aluminum and chrome parts. An electric truck would make it so I don't annoy the neighbors everyday...lol.:D
