Hey I am completely new and have a budget of around £250, I have been looking at the losi speed-t, the combo I've seen comes with an 8.4v 3000mah nimh battery, was just wondering if this is good for a complete novice, and how long this would run for and how long it would take to charge, thankyou.

that battery would probally give you around 10-15 minutes of runtime as for charge time that would depend on your charger.

Hey thanks very much but I have decided to go cheaper with a micro-dt or similar just to see if RC is the hobby for me!

okay so I think i've changed my mind again, and I think i'm going for the Rustler VXL mainly because I have heard the speed-t has handling problems because of locked rear diff.

you can replace the locking rings in the diff to have a ball diff but its kinda difficult. I was going to suggest the rustler VXL it seems to be more durable and more user friendly.

Yer I think the VXL is for me, as I am completely new I don't think I would be able to replace the diff, thanks for your help
