Congrats to Losi team driver Jay Robinette for winning the 1.9 Rock Crawling World Championships!
Jay used a prototype chassis that we put together last week and Jay ran it for the first time at this comp. Besides the chassis Jay used Mini Rock Claws for traction. More details will be posted soon.

Oh what a week of great times in Donner California. First off this place has some of the best and most challenging terrain I've ever competed on. The rocks had good consistant traction the whole week making the set-up of your rig very important.
Starting the week out our Team had some tricks up our sleeve's that we brought to compete with against the best drivers in the World. Team Losi has been known to show up for big events with something out of the ordinary so keep a eye on us if you like really cool inovations. Thanks Rich and Jake for all your time and effort that make this Team a true Team that fights to the finish. We've come a long way this past year and it show's with our performance and dedication everytime we meet.
My 1.9 Mini Rock Crawler was on fire from the time I went through the first course all the way to the Final. I used the Losi stock Mini Crawler and hopped it up with just about everything to compete at the Worlds level. Losi Slider motor geared at a 12 tooth pinion and stock ESC had plenty of power to pull some of the sickest lines I've ever tried.
Here is a few pics of my rigs at the Worlds.

I'm very pleased and excited to be the first ever 1.9 World Rock Crawling Champion!! This class started less then a year ago and took off real fast in all parts of the nation. It brings back the days of driving a rig with no 3rd channel options or motor on axle so your set up and lines on the rocks are very important to be the best.
I'd like to thank all of Team Losi for thier part in the Rock Crawling community, if it wasn't for them and a few really good engineers this would have never happend to the sport of R/C Rock Crawling. Keep up the good work guys this is getting really big now!

What secrets are you hiding from the masses? If there is a comp MRC chassis in development I'd hold off on an aftermarket one just to get one.
