View Full Version : Mini LST 2
Hey,
I'm a newbe and need some help. I have a Mini LST 2 and need to upgrade the steering servos (nylon gears don't stand up). Anyone know of a mini servo with metal gears that will fit the stock servo horn. One suggestion has been the Jr DS 285 mg, don't know if the servo splines match the stock servo saver.
Thanks,
Kevin

If you can find one the Hitec HS-5055 is a digital metal geared version of the plastic gear analogue HS-55 which Losi do servo savers for. Servo saver is LOSB1226 :) and horns are the same size on both servos !

Exotek Racing makes a single servo conversion that is quite nice. I went with a digital Futaba low profile servo. Best upgrade so far. The steering is so smooth now. Anybody know if someone makes an aluminum idler gear? It would be the same as the mini-t idler gear.

I agree with Squirrel, The Exotek upgrade to a single servo is the best upgrade you can do for this truck.
