Noticed it seems like the forum is showing guys as "online" for far too long after their last activity.. just thought I'd throw that out there.

Yeah or maybe it has some sort of time thing and says they are logged in for a certain time after going offline? I know some other forums that are like that

some people stay logged in all the time so if your logged in the forum says your online i hope that makes sense

Still shouldn't say your logged on though, that has got to do with the cookies

It's a forum setting; your visit times out after a preset amount of time. Most forums stop showing you as "online" after 5-20 minutes... doesn't matter if you leave the window opened or not; it is based on the last activity logged on the forum. Looks like the timeout period is set very high here, that's all. :D
