+1 TIX!!
Its great to be able to contact all the great Team Losi Drivers.
For me this kind of support is the most important and what gives a company reputation and make the best of all.
Thanks.

Nice job on the forum Losi. It's great that you have such a well-seasoned group of Losi employees and racers here to answer our questions. I feel sorry for the Losi threads on the other forums now, as this will soon be THE PLACE to go for Losi-related chat.

i really think we need a classified section
Pretty much is the best site now, not to many companies have their own forum
All I can say is AWESOME, it's going to be nice being able to interact with the losi guys and gals. Great site.

Any chance of a SC truck category at a later date after the strike comes out?

ENjoying the site!!! Is there a way to "sticky" the important threads like 8ight T 2.0 etc etc? SO they dont ever drop off the front page, this is where the bulk of the information is going to be.

It is nice to see that Losi has finally created a forum for people. I workedat a hobby shop for 7 years and enjoyed all the input/advice/ etc from the Tech's and drivers at Losi and Horizon. I actuallt miss it! LOL
One thing I would like to see added to the forum is a section on "New Products"....but rather what teh public WANTS to see offered.
On that, I would like to contribute the first post.
I want KITS! Not just for racing vehicles either....but for things like the Comp Crawler, Desert Truck, MRC, etc. I understand the entire marketing thing with the general public not wanting to build as they don't know how or have the patients. However, there are a LOT of us "old timers" that actually prefer to BUILD. I hate having to get a RTR just to tear it apart and replace all the electronics with good ones or repair mistakes made by the assembler. Honestly, it takes more time doing this and is very frustrating. The Mini Lst I have is actually made from all aftermarket parts...same goes with my Mini-T's and Micro-T.
You guys make fantastic instruction manuals....that was always a HUGE selling point when i worked at my LHS....the competitions were terrible.
That is my post on that.
Cheers!

Glad to finally have a nice Losi forum. I like their vehicles. I have been in and out of RC for years. After buying and selling vehicles I finally decided on what to buy. I was more active in a very popular RC magazines forum but after reading to much bashing of Losi and complaining about everything I had to leave.
Now I hope Losi comes out with a E-Maxx or Savage Flux type of truck and a new RTR onroad car. I like their offerings now as well.
I would like Losi to continue to support the XXXS chassis. I have two, a Graphite Plus I use in our local VTA class, and my original XXXS I bought when they first come out, I use in our "E-Truck" oval class, using a ORT body. These cars are still competitive, and price wize would be a good mid level in cost between it and the JRX-S. How about bringing back the graphite chassis?

Starting with a new 1/10 4wd buggy ! It`s way , way overdue for a new one .

Briguy, I have to agree. I raced a XX4we back in the day against XXX4's. The XXX4's couldn't keep up in the rough stuff! And a 4wd buggy is way overdue indeed. I have considered getting a B44, but I don't for personal reasons.

This is really sweet site and i do think it will draw a lot of attention, but something has to be done with (as in a collaboration effort ??????? maybe? :D) http://lstforums.com because their site has EXTENSIVE knowledge, research and TIME TESTED custom mods at that site .....
(I mean ALOT of info, years and years ahead of this site)
For losi refugees that is where we've gathered.
Love the site :D

+1 on the kits. I really enjoyed building my 8ight buggy when it came out. All my other Losi's have been taken apart and reassembled. Building you RC gives you a much better insight into the workings of the car. If something is wrong, you actually have an idea what it might be.
A classified section is a minefield and not really needed. There are plenty of forums around for that.

Ok, I get the image verification thing started after some unwanted bot spammers hit the boards, but isn't there another way to filter them out? I HATE the image verification being required on every post, please get rid of it.

So far I'm really enjoying the site!
When I signed up, there was a set of rules which I feel were well thought out and very appropriate for a RC focused web site.... Now I can't find them....
Is there a link????
Or can you send me a text version????
Thanks!

you should make a micro crawler for the indoors or make a four wheel drive short course kit to compete with the ofna scrt 10.

heck ya! on a rainy day ill be able to crawl indoors and undr stuff
But isn't the 1/18 crawler small enough?

sure 1/18th is nice. but why stop there. if you have ever been to comps, we like to play with all kinds of toys. I can definately see some mini course coming about from a micro crawler. + kids love that stuff.
Bottom line, if losi is wanting to be ahead of the curve, start realizing that there are 200+ entries every comp. Scalers is a big thing too and you guys should be looking into that. But isn't the 1/18 crawler small enough?

After just purchasing my second Eight,(first was a eight 2.0 RTR, just picked up a race roller) I think it would be cool to have a thread for the people putting together their RR's. Sharing info regarding engines and pipes, suspension setups. Some of us run on highly technical tracks versus others who run fast long layouts. Sharing this info would be invaluable to someone like me who's debating on whether or not to spend $400.00 or $700.00 on an engine/pipe combo. Other than that, I think the site is great! Keep up the good work!

This forum kept me from writing off losi for good. a classified section would be good i think I would check here for an RC before buying new at the hobby shop, i could be very good for everyone.

I used to stand next to Gil Losi Sr. on the drivers stand, back in the 80s, when all we had to race were modified Tamiya R/C cars. He would start singing the song by the "Police" (Sting) "Don't Stand so Close To Me". Does he still have a Pantera? It would be great to hear from Gil Sr. Gil Jr. Allen or Janet Losi.
Thanks,

Hey Losi....I have been a big suporter for many years...Take a look at Associateds new offering....a 4X4 Short Course truck that is being offered as a KIT. I really don't care for Associated, but since you guys don't offer a kit of the 10-SCTE, I may have to get teh Associated one. Please take note....teh competition is listening to the consumer....Why aren't you?
to losi,i and many others, have serious problems with our xcelorin motor/esc combos, your product wont work with win 7 64bit pc,yet on your xcelorin download page it states not compatible with vista 64bit,it dosnt mention win7 64bit.when will we have the software/drivers we are all so desperate for.i usually buy kyosho, traxxas products but i want a ten t bigtime,my local model shop has one in stock, but if you cannot resolve this i WILL throw it in bin and wash my hands of losi,so please fix it because i want my ten t. yours, lee h

A troubleshooting/ flowchart section for Losi vehicles. While advice from other drivers is valuable, I would like to be enabled to work through some things on my own. You could post diagrams. "If yes move here, If no move here" charts. Have a link to report and post your findings to the forums with access symbols and markings on the charts and diagrams for others to reference quickly. Have a "Ask the Mechanic" section. Of course with part #'s, exploded views, etc. A "Buy" link for the parts... And as I read earlier a link to buy vehicles as well. Also, a "Report to Losi" link would be amazing... A place to report possible bugs and other issues which go un addressed due to aftermarket upgrades. Example... Imagine if Losi had a few thousand metal spur gears in stock for the Ten-T family. Hmmm. If your Engineering Dept. and Marketing Dept. had a quick link on their computer to read our findings then they could work out those details instead of allowing the customer to hit other websites for upgrades. But instead, there is no one to call and say, "Hey, we need a metal gear." It just breaks and we go surfing. This sport requires some basic mechanical skills and reasoning is a must. There are many of us who would be successful using this section of Losi.com. for troubleshooting and other reasons. Building this section would take some of the load off the team drivers and other representatives so they would be able to focus more on the people who really need personal assistance. And, give us some bad-*** smileys too. The pastels are, well, you know.

For the forum itself, I would like to see it structured better.
Under say 'Electric Off-Road' I would like to see each active model have its own section. Under the model section people can post their questions or comments. This would make it much easier for noobs (like myself on the forum here) to find what we might be looking for.
If you go to the sticky for Ten-SCTE it has 71 pages, a little difficult to go through to find an answer to a question in that many pages.

I have just purchsed a LST XXL ( by the way it is Awsome) and I was looking for some of the factory upgrades. If you are on the page for each truck you cant click on upgrades and see all of the parts that are related to that specific vehicle. I went to the aftershock page and I also looked up the older LST2 and found upgrades for those ( shock bodies, wings, sway bar set, metal gear set, etc). Over all pretty good site...
