Here's my muggified lst2 with a lot of upgrades. Finished 3rd in my first state pro series race. Love this thing.

whats the advanteg of converting an lst to a muggy rather than getting a muggy

well a muggy is not a monstertruck for 1...and it makes the lst2 more agressive

Wow, now that is a proper Race LST2. Would be nice if Losi came out with one from the factory, super light weight.....went right after the Revo platinum.

If they were going to make an all out racer this would be the way to do it
I went down the line of the 8T 2.0 Truggy when coming up with the design for this

Using an LST2/XXL/Muggy layout i came up with this.
I redesigned a new carbon chassis using the front half of an LST and the rear half of an XXL. This made the chassis 13mm longer in the rear between the motor and the tank moving weight forward and improving corner ability. This was done using front halfs of the LST rails and rear halfs of the XXL rails and a complete custom cut top chassis plate.
I then made up some carbon towers using an 8ight front tower design and an 8T rear tower design. this allowed for better shock locations and the use of 8ight shock and wing mounts.
Custom shocks were milled and use a Losi 8ight shock parts with a new longer body. They use a Muggy shock shaft up front and an LST/XXL shock shaft in the rear.
To further help the setup new skid plates were made to allow a droop screw to be added to the arms further increasing the tuning of the truck
Other racing hopups/mods include rear antisquat adjustment, RPM arms to adjust camber, Losi 15 degree spindal carriers, NewEra aluminium spindals, GPM aluminium bellcranks, 5mm steering turnbuckles from the 8T front camber link, 8ight tank clunk (for those slower marshals) carbon upper plates, carbon center skid plate, carbon hinge pin plates, Losi sway bar kit, forward only conversion, The Dude single speed transmission, 8ight 2.0 break rotor, 17mm wheel hexes and lastly +size pinions

I put all this together with my custom rotostart OS 28xz and a custom header and its only beaten if it breaks

Here are a few pics and a video. Not my best driving but you'll see it drives nothing like a monster truck

I used to mount my LiPo rcvr pack on the receiver box like that, but after the big jumps the battery would rip the lid to shreds, I ended up rigging it mounted to the front shock tower.. Have you had better luck?

i use zip-ties as like a exta brace works fine
