Hi all

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a parts diagram for the steering servo in the Mini Desert Truck. My kids have stripped one of the gears and when the replacement gear arrives I want to put it back together right.

Cheers

that servo is a pain to take apart, i couldn't find a screw driver small enough for the screws, even an eyeglass screwdriver was too big. i ended up using my leather man to slower twist out the tops of the screws.

AS For the gears, each one is roughly different, and you should be able to tell the difference, when you take it apart, just take note of wear each gear is, and it shouldn't be too hard.

When you put it back together make sure that its tightly shut, or you'll strip more gears, and stuff will wobble loose.

Thanks Grzld

I have already take it apart to see which gear was stripped. The problem began when after taking it carefully apart I noticed a very small gear on the bench. I did not see this one come out so do not know where it goes.

So a diagram would be very useful because as you mentioned I do not want to strip the gears again.

Cheers

I believe the small gear you speak of is the one above and slightly to the right of the gold gear.

[BTW], thats not my picture, i found it on another site.
