problems with losi muggy

i just got done breaking my muggy in when i started to have a weird problem. the front and rear diff spin in different directions. the diffs were never taken out and never had this problem before. now what makes the problem wirder is when i pull the motor out it all spins free and normal soon as i put the motor back in it starts up again. the clutch in the truck is stuck open right now i think i killed the springs that hold the shoes. i wanted to see what was causing the problem before going and buying a new clutch cause its not the clutch i'm back where i started and i'm just going to convert it to electric

If it is not the springs, then it might be something with the center diff.

My guess is that the springs are stuck so a lot of power is going to the center diff, then it puts the power to either front or rear and it's causing the wheels to rotate in opposite directions because it doesn't know what to do with it.

so you think by replacing the clutch that it'll take care of the issue? i just hate to put the money into the clutch and it not be what its then turn around and go brushless. but i also hate to see a motor with onl one tank over break in just sit
