Best SCT 4WD

Hello all, I've been out of rc cars for several years and now I would like to get back into it. Can anyone tell me what is the Best SCT 4WD out there and where is the best place to get it? I also want to know what's the best Motor, ESC, Radio, Etc..... Thanks.

The SCTE is the best truck out of the box hands down.
Best ESC/Motor setup. Tekin RX8 with Tekin Pro-4 motor (4000kv for tight indoor racing, 4600kv for anything else).

Radio. Find a radio you like. I recommend the Spektrum DX3R Pro but you can find less radio's that can get the job done depending on your budget.

Batteries. I recommend the Xcelorin 6000mah 60C. Great runtime and awesome power.

Servo. Spektrum S6040 or JR z9100s

I hope this is not a silly question but when you said SCTE is there a difference between SCTE and TEN SCTE?

No. Sorry most of us call the XXX-SCT the "SCT" and the Ten-SCTE the "SCTE" Too long to type or say the full names.

Thanks for the quick response. You recommende that I use the Tekin Rx8 but when I go online it says it's for the 1/8th scale. Will it work on the SCTE 1/10 scale? If so is it that it's just one of the best ESC out there?

These 4X4 SC trucks are heavy and the motors we put in them draw massive amps. The RX8 is an 8th scale speedo but also the right choice for this truck. There are a few high end "10th scale" ESC's out there that will power these amp hungry 4 pole and 550 motors we use in 4X4SC but the RX8 is the best choice IMO.
