View Full Version : Gear swap and xxl gears make you lst a beast

i did the gear swap and upgraded to the xxl gears and my truck is one **** of a beast it just rip i wasent expecting much but wow i was wrong :D:cool:

Did you use the 3118 or the 3119 finle drive gears?

There two different finale drive sets one is a 3118 http://h1069592.hobbyshopnow.com/pro...?prod=LOSB3118 and the other is a 3119 http://h1069592.hobbyshopnow.com/pro...?prod=LOSB3119 the 3118 is a 15/30 ratio and the 3119 is a 16/29. the 15/30 should give you more low end and the 16/29 more top end

I installed the XXL 16/29 gear set in my LST2 and Wow!! It Rips. I also have the Losi 454 power plant.

I installed the XXL 16/29 gear set in my LST2 and Wow!! It Rips. I also have the Losi 454 power plant. Thats what I'm running. I havent taken out the reverse like Axial but I think thats next along with that gear flip. I love all most free hop ups lke that.

i nvere had resverv i started out with an aftershock:cool:Sorry I read XXL gears and assumed you used the whole gear box. I would think if I remove the reverse gears on my XXL it would be quicker off the line what do you think ?
