Hi, i got a Speed T and i live in Australia and here there is a lot of rain, it says in the Speed T's manual that it does not like the wet. randomly without that in mind i decided to use my Speed T on the road on a rainy wet day i just had a feeling that nothing bad would happen, the drenched road did not seem to effect the Speed T's grip or anything like that in fact everything was going fine like it was a dry wet free day but it was NOT, after around 30mins of run time in the raining wet i took it inside and the body and tires were soaked but when i took the body off the motor, battery, ESC, servo EVERYTHING were completely DRY!

You got lucky. Being a 2WD and just driving on the road, all the spray is released behind the truck. If you are driving offroad, hitting the occasional puddle, etc. it may not be so good. That being said it's my opinion that it's not so much the moisture on the day you drive it, but the condensation build-up. Just a couple weeks ago, I was racing and the rain started but it was the last heat and was doing good so I went out. Truck ran ggod and finished in 2nd place but the next day I started it and all I got was a huge cloud of the magic smoke from the ESC. (brand new CC Sidewinder) I drive my trucks in the damp weather, but I make sure I completely dry all the electronics with a hair dryer or heat gun as soon as I get home.
