Hi..
can I use these on the 8ight 2.0T Aluminum Front Spindles LOSA1708
And do these parts improve anything or is it just more weight on the car?

LOSA4443 - Team Losi Aluminum Servo Saver Arm
LOSA1732 Rear Hub Carriers, Aluminum
there is also a considerable "play" in the steering. if you take hold of one wheel and turn while holding the other. a fix for this?
hope you understand what I mean on my bad English :)

I am a firm believer in using as little alu parts as possible, and since none of the parts you mention has given me problems in their stock for I've seen no reason to upgrade. However the alu spindles are supposed to give you more steering.
There's always gonna be some slop in these offroad cars, and they work just fine with it.

yes but there is much more slop than other Truggy I've felt on..

The Losi's love slop, and personally drive better once you gain a little slop.
I know people who shim out the slop, but like Drake has stated if you shim out the slop you give yourself a greater chance to bind something up at the wrong time.
IMO leave the slop in the steering; my buggy loves it and seems more responsive once the plastics stretch and create some slop.
And the ALU parts are great on the spindles, and they do add some steering throw for you.
I highly recommend the ALU servo saver, and if you upgrade the rear hubs to ALU make sure you get hubs that have the larger 8x15 outter bearing instead of the stock 8x14 the Truggy is notorious for eatting the rear outter bearings up really quick.

The servo arm would be good because it improves performance but i'd forget about the other 2. I try to use as little aluminum as possible because it's heavy! The only aluminum i have is the front top brace and rear chasis brace because both have broke in the stock plastic form. Although, once i put my buggy on a diet and purchase Lunsford titanium turnbuckle/hinge pin kit i will probably go back to stock on those 2 parts also to keep the weight down.
As far as the slop, replace your rod ends every once in a while and you will minimize it...

steering knuckles are the only Alum part that will give you added performance...everything else is extra unneeded weight.

I really wish Losi would make the 12 degree caster blocks in plastic. I a little to much mulah for me to get two sets of them right now. :)
