Hello there.. I just picked up a Nightcrawler RTR this afternoon. I got it home upacked it and threw in a freshly charged Nimh battery in the car and the included AA's in the radio. Turned on the radio and turned on the receiver, put the car on the ground and and tested the steering and throttle. Everything seemed to work great so I drove it over to the stairs and crawled down them. Played around for a few minutes on the stairs and then the car stopped moving. The steering still works but the car will not move. If I adjust the throttle trim the car will move forward and backwards, so I am sure the motor is working fine. So following the instruction manual's troubleshooting guide went through the steps for speed control programming and the Nightcrawler still does not move. I even tried rebinding to no avail. Now when I try to do the one-touch endpoint setup, the blinking green light never stops blinking. Please Help  I am stumped with this....

Thanks

Just a possibiity, but if the LiPo cutoff is kicking in with your NiMh battery, it is possibly causing your problem...?

Check the instructions for the ESC and make sure the LiPo cutoff is OFF for NiMh...

I dont remember if the light on the ESC was red or green when first turned on the car. Red being LiPo. Now is there a way to reset the ESC if the LiPo cut off is "stuck" in Nimh mode?

My new, out of the box, Night Crawler failed to take a program for the ECC. Turned out, the receiver failed for throttle control. The dealer replaced it, all is well!
