looks good, but why do you have the antenna so darn long, and the receiver on the rear shock tower

Thanks, thats the antenna it came with....is there a way to shorten it? and that is the battery pack on the rear shock tower. I don't have a tray for it.

How do those yellow springs work. My truck came with some chrome springs that have no spring wieght.

pretty stiff they definitly help with pulling wheelys! more for offroad soft sand.

The only way to shorten the antenna is to upgrade to a 2.4ghz trx/rx system.
