Back after a very long two year break, the Short Course King is back in full swing. The Short Course King Money Race Series was created in 2009, to give back to the racers and introduce new tracks. The first season was a great success, and I'm happy to announce that we are back!

For those of you who are not familiar with the series, this is a basic run-down of how it works.

There are four tracks involved in the series, 1 drop, and the schedule is as follows:

Round 1- September 10th at New Red Hobbies in Ocala, Fl http://www.newredhobbies.com/

Round 3- November 12th at RCIS in Green Cove Springs, Fl http://www.rc-international-speedways.com/

Classes:

Stock 2wd Short Course:

ESC- Any
Motor- Brushless 17.5 or 27t Brushed
Chassis- Any 1/10 production SC Chassis
Tires- Any tread pattern made for the SC Truck ( No 1/8 buggy tires)
Batteries- Any 2s Lipo or 6 Cell Sub C
Body- Any body made for the SC Truck (No Beatle bodies)
No Sponsored Drivers Allowed! This class is for the beginners!

Open 2wd Short Couse:

ESC- Any
Motor- Any
Chassis- Any 1/10 production SC Chassis
Tires- Any tread pattern made for the SC Truck ( No 1/8 buggy tires)
Batteries- Any 2s Lipo or 6 Cell Sub C
Body- Any body made for the SC Truck (No Beatle bodies)

Open 4wd Short Course:

ESC- Any
Motor- Any
Chassis- Any 1/10 production SC Chassis (No 1/8 conversions)
Tires- Any tread pattern made for the SC Truck (No 1/8 buggy tires)
Batteries- Any 2s Lipo or 6 Cell Sub C (No 4s batteries)
Body- Any body made for the SC Truck (No Beatle bodies)

Open 2wd Short Course Buggy:

ESC- Any
Motor- Any
Chassis- Any 1/10 production SC Buggy Chassis
Tires- Any tread pattern made for the SC Buggy (No 1/8 buggy tires)
Batteries- Any 2s Lipo or 6 Cell Sub C
Body- Any body made for the SC Buggy

Race Format:

3 Qualifiers 6 minutes long.

IFMAR Qualifying. Single fastest round.

Top 8 will lock into the A main Feature.

Mains B and lower will be 6 minutes with the top 2 bumping up to the higher main.

A main will be 8 minutes.

Series Format:

Traditional Scoring with 1 point for TQ, 100 for 1st, 99 for 2nd, 98 for 3rd and so on.

Payouts:

Here's where it gets good.

We will payout the top 4 in each class at the end of the series. Here's a breakdown of how the entry fees are distributed:

Entry Fees:
$25 per class
$10 Goes to the Track
$10 Goes to the Payout
$5 Goes to the Series Season Expenses

Here's the Percentage Payout Breakdown for the Top 4.

Each class will have it's own individual purse. The total number of entries per class throughout the series will dictate how much money will be awarded at the end for that class.

1rst Place- 50%
2nd Place- 25%
3rd Place- 15%
4th Place- 10%

Top 5 in each class will get a Plaque.
