I put an 1/8 2100 on a monster truck i bought off ebay and was looking forward to taking it to the local ski lodge for a little snow bashing in the comming months but was wondering just how water proof the xcelorin is. I've never heard of the xceloring being waterproof but was wondering if someone could verify that for me. If its not does anyone have some suggestions that I can do to make it snow/water capeable?

Squirrelod just posted a video on how to do this with a Mamba ESC. Even though they're not the same, this looks like it could get you going in the right direction. That liquid tape stuff seems to be the key.

he's applying liquid tape to the bottom of the curcuit board - which not only voids the warranty, but it does nothing to address the OTHER SIDE of the same curuit board... ROFL, laughable at best
Not to be jerk or anything but I was merely trying to show him what someone else did and it worked. In the video he explains that you would indeed be voiding the warranty so that shouldn't be anything surprising.
And you actually see him test it out and it does indeed work. How can you say that it's laughable when he proves that it works. He submerses both the motor and the esc into water and it continues to work while under water. Like I said, I know it's not the same ESC or motor that the OP was referring to but I was merely trying to show him how one guy's method worked. Obviously austintacious knows that everything is gonna get wet, he's taking it in the snow.
Also is it just laughable or ROLF laughable?
Thanks Robbie
